I graduated from Troy in 2009 and was really hoping to get some Daylight Doughnuts, but it seemed to have disappeared, so I went to Trojan Doughnuts twice in my four mornings in Troy. The apple fritter was perfect: dense and fried, with a ton of glaze. This is a small shop, but I was really disappointed with how few options there were to choose from and that only one person was working the counter — even as there were multiple people getting large orders. I'd avoid high traffic times, and encourage knowing what you want when you get to the counter — be considerate of the line.August 20, 2016
